Lately I have kind of been in a negative headspace which is NOT GOOD. I haven’t had the most positive thoughts about myself or my life and I’ve noticed that it’s starting to take a toll on me and my surroundings. So the other day I was scrolling through Pinterest trying to find some uplifting quotes and some affirmations that I can write down to hang around my house.

Through the thousand of quotes and affirmations that I found and LOVED I came across something that really stood out to me. – 10 LIFE CHANGING JOURNALING PROMPTS TO CONNECT TO YOUR SOUL AND LIVE YOUR DESTINY – what is it, you ask? Well exactly what it sounds like. I had never realized how fun and uplifting journaling is until I came across this on Pinterest. I have been doing this activity for the last three days and I can’t believe how much positivity and happiness I am already feeling! You guys have to give it a try.

I got this cute little journal at the dollar store awhile back and I alternate between daily devotionals and this journaling prompt and my mind & body have never felt better!

Meditation is also a great way to clear your head and invite in more positive thoughts. I like to meditate when I’m in the bath or at night when my family is sleeping. You can honestly meditate anywhere as long as you have a few minutes of free time, but it’s easier to clear your mind and more relaxing if you do it in a comfortable quiet place. You can find a ton of meditation apps in the App Store but the one I have been using for a couple years is called Headspace. The free basics (the option I use) are all I ever need but you can chose to subscribe for $12.99/month or $94.99/year if you wish to, but the Free Basics are perfect!

One other thing I have been doing that I would encourage you to try it listening to Podcasts! You can find thousands of greats podcasts through the App already installed on iPhones, but I use Spotify! I have found and listen to so many AMAZING ones which I will share below:

This Podcast isn’t really motivational but I wanted to include it in my favorites, because it is fun just go listen to. BUT listener discretion is advised because it is R rated.

Last but not least, my ALL TIME FAVORITE Podcast is one that I have been listening to for a few months now. It is called Primal Potential By Elizabeth Benton and it is truly life changing. I promise you, you will feel better and better about any physical goal, mental goal, weight loss goal literally ANY GOAL you are trying to reach after listening to this. I honestly learn something from every episode and use that lesson in my day to day routine and in life in general. EVERYONE should listen to it.

I know there are quite a few episode from the PP Podcast, but I swear you will love each and everyone of them. Go give them a listen! Everyday I get up and remind myself that negative thoughts and actions create a negative life and the best way to combat that is to introduce MORE AND MORE positive thoughts and activities into your day. These three things have helped me so much in such a short amount of time and I know they will help you too. ❤️
