Alright I know what you’re think, “Bailee, what on earth could be better than coffee?” But believe me, this drink is delicious! Oh and I when I say “better than coffee” I mean health wise, other than that, nothing is better than a steaming cup of joe.
If you follow Brittany Dawn, better known as bdawnfit, on any of her social media accounts (if not I’ll link her down below and you can check her out she’s amazing) you have probably seen this drink before, or maybe you have just seen it but never tried it. Personally I have seen it at least three times on bdawnfits Snapchat! I couldn’t quite figure out what all the hype was about, I mean it was an apple cider vinegar drink, how good could it be, right?
I have read and know about all the health benefits of incorporating ACV into your diet, I have actually tried it myself and have seen and felt some promising results. I will post a few benefits, but you really should look into it, It’s pretty neat. (:
- Aids in weight loss
- Aids in Digestion
- Balances pH levels
- Prevents Cancer
All those things are great, but the reason I wanted to try it is for the energy benefits! I love coffee and I try to keep it as healthy as possible, but it makes me way to jittery and I can’t stand it. 😫 When I saw bdawnfit post about this drink I was like hmm, I need to try it, but in order to do that I had to find it first! I finally found it at my local Walker Drug when I was out running errands. You can order them online for $2.59 + shipping but I paid $3.29 for mine at the store.
I got the flavor Pomegranate – Goji berry. It’s made with all organic ingredients and distilled water. Even though it has that ACV taste (obviously) it is still quite enjoyable! The other flavors are:
- Apple Cinnamon
- Concord grape – Acai
- Ginger Spice
It’s low calorie, gluten free and is perfect if you’re feeling a little parched! LOL! I drank some of mine on my walk home and it was so refreshing! I do have to say that the first couple sips did give me a tiny bit of heartburn, but I really wouldn’t expect anything less after drinking vinegar. 😂 As far as giving me energy? I’m going to put that to the test. I saved the rest of mine so I can drink it in the morning to see if I notice a difference! I am also going to try it before I go to the gym; it provides two servings so it will work out great < pun intended. LOL.
** I have read that it is okay to incorporate small amounts of ACV into your diet if you are pregnant or nursing, but since I’m not a Doctor, you should ask yours! **
All in all I would say this drink is a 10/10. It’s good and it’s good for you! I’m excited to put it to the test and see how it scores in the energy department! Stay tuned for my results!
