I’m sure you’ve heard all the hype about the new Morphe eyeshadow palette that was created with YouTuber, Jaclyn Hill. The palette launched on June 21st and sold out in 45 minutes, even faster the second launch. Fortunately I was lucky enough to get my hands on one the first go round…. and let me tell you, this palette is BOMB. There are 35 colors in this palette of which include: mattes, satins, glitters, shimmers and foils with each one being more pigmented than the last; the color payoff these shadows give is RIDICULOUS. I swatched all 35 colors on my arm and they were a pain in the ass to get off, but it’s nice knowing that your shadow isn’t going anywhere once it’s on.
The first thing you notice about the palette is that the packaging is WHITE, I know sounds awful. But I love it! I can understand how it would be annoying if you use it a lot causing it to get super dirty, but for me I keep it in my drawer and wipe it off after each use, so she’s still beautiful. The writing on the inside and the outside is foiled silver, giving this palette a very classy, high end look. All in all I would give it a 12/10. It’s that good.
This palette retails for $38 dollars which is a bit more than the usual $20 Morphe charges for their palettes, but the price increase is totally worth it. For those of you who know Jaclyn and watch her videos, you know that she spent two years of her life creating and perfecting these shadows. She did a f**king amazing job, so to me paying the extra $18 + shipping was a no brainer.
So far I have created maybe 5 different looks with this palette. All the shadows are so freaking blendable, creamy and smooth that is literally so easy to create beautiful looks with very little product and little to no effort. The colors are suited to EVERY skin color and EVERY makeup look, whether dark skin to light skin or full beat to modest; it seriously caters to every bodies needs which is a rare find in the makeup world.
To be honest this palette is a for sure must have to add to your makeup collection, not only is it beautiful, but it was created by a beautiful person who worked tiredlesly to bring something new and exciting to the table. I hope that you guys enjoyed this post and go support Jaclyn and Morphe by purchasing this palette which be be back in stock sometime in AUGUST (keep your eyes peeled.) Don’t forget to tag me in any looks your create, and like this post. Thank you so much for being here!
